Riverton is a little Disappointon

Finer Things has been slow going for this book. Not going to lie it is not my favorite. I think it makes it worse since it is winter and once you run out of things to do inside you are stuck with the same ole drudgery. We are also having a hard time planning FTC with everyone busy schedules. What's a gill to do? I have read three books since we started Riverton and I must say that they were leagues above it. Oh the book...like I said not one of my favorites but we're getting through it. As long as I have my faithful Harry Potter to read in the meantime I can pretty much endure anything Grace has to throw at me. Grace is the main character of the book and is for lack of a better term, droll. The way the author writes the book is extremely unclimaxed because she gives away all the good information in such a nonchalant way. It's positively maddening. Me and the gills will persevere through the book till the end and once it is done I think most of us will be relieved. Till next time...stay finer. :)
